<p>While some people have naturally good memories, this ability relies largely on circulation of blood which transports oxygen that is essential for the function of all vital organs. Improving this increases brain&#8217;s ability to rapidly create the physical connections between areas within itself.</p>
<p>Improving circulation usually starts with getting a decent amount of cardiovascular exercise. Activities that significantly raise the heart rate to over 100 beats per minute improve circulation to all important areas of the body. By participating in this three or more times per week, for at least half an hour per session, long lasting improvements in circulation can result.</p>
<p>Besides physical exercise, mental exercise is important. The connections made between areas within the brain occur when a person is mentally stimulated in a new way. Generally, the more connections that exist, the better a person&#8217;s memory will be. To give the brain a mental workout, learn a to play an instrument, a new language or work on a challenging math problem. This improves not only the ability to retain information, but to think creatively as well.</p>
<p>Supplements are often used to increase circulation and provide necessary nutrients to the brain. Widely used products include B vitamins, Ginseng and Ginkgo Biloba. In addition to improving circulation, some products act to relieve stress which improves overall health as well as cognitive functions.</p>

<p>1. Eat Certain Foods</p>
<p>Particular foods help to improve memory. One of the best foods for memory is fish. Other types are dark chocolate, oatmeal, fruit, vegetables, and dairy. These foods are low on the glycemic index (GI). This that they keep more regular blood sugar levels than other foods.</p>
<p>Foods and drinks that have a negative impact on memory are alcohol, soda, sugar, and white bread. These are high on the GI, unlike the foods that are good for memory. If these foods or drinks are consumed in excess they can decrease memory. So eating less of these can help memory.</p>
<p>2. Physical Exercise</p>
<p>Exercise helps blood flow, which includes brain blood flow. This helps to increase brain and memory function. If you maintain an active lifestyle your brain will become more active too.</p>
<p>3. Try Brain Exercises</p>
<p>Brain-teasers such as crossword puzzles and certain video games can help memory. The more you work at these puzzles, the easier they become. This means that your memory is also improving.</p>
<p>4. Take Additional Nutrients</p>
<p>Memory can be aided by omega-3 fatty acids. Flax seed, fish oil, and fish contain these. Omega-3s help improve brain cell communication, brain function, and focus. Other supplements that can help are folic acid, sage oil, and ginko biloba.</p>
<p>5. Rest your Body</p>
<p>If you sleep long enough to feel fully rested, your whole body is recharged. On the other hand, your brain cannot function well without this rest. Relaxation, breathing exercises, and meditation can also help brain function.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It’s true.  The mortality rates decline when job losses increase and the economy takes a downturn.  Contrary to what one would probably think is that physical or mental health would become  worse leading to death by poor health or suicide as the jobs disappear and the economy crashes, per say.</p>
<p>Studies over the past 9 years have shown that mortally goes up with economic highs and goes down with contractions and not the opposite as one would expect.</p>
<p>In this writers option, I believe that when things get tough, our mindset changes.  The focus shifts to the important things in life.  Such as family, relationships, health and living for today.</p>
<p>When the economy is booming, the focus is on deadlines, commuting, bosses, co-workers, clock watching to the end of the work day, stressing about what needs to be done inside and outside of the work place. The worry is on stuff.  Stuff that really it’s important.  Stress levels increase therefore causing high blood pressure, high cholesterol (from not having good eating habits), substance addiction, depression, strokes, heart attacks and in some cases death.</p>
<p>At times when there is a decrease in the economy and the focus is on the important elements in life, the stress level goes down.  Family becomes whole again. There is time to look after our health with proper diet and exercise, which lowers cholesterol and blood pressure.</p>
<p>People help the community they live in and in return the community gives back. Substance abuse is replaced by spirituality, whether that be God or some other higher power from within.  Depression becomes happiness and sense of well being. Overall better health and wellness decreases the chances of stroke and heart attacks lower the death rate.</p>
<p>More and more people are staring their own home based business.  Internet Marketing is the wave of the future.</p>
<p>Life is a gift and worth living to the fullest. We should always keep a positive mindset no matter what is thrown our way.  This will enable us to live happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.</p>

<p>The key to becoming more productive with your time is to concentrate your efforts on the task at hand.  So how do you begin to concentrate your efforts?  The key is to eliminate distractions.</p>
<p>Distractions come from two sources.  The first source is outside things, such as phone calls, emails, interruptions from other people and so on. Pick a time when you feel at your peak, and sequester yourself, for a period of time each day, to give  yourself a real boost in productivity.  Develop your own methods to &#8220;hide&#8221; from the outside world, for a period of time each day, and you will see your output grow.</p>
<p>The second source of distractions comes from within.  Unfortunately, this is the hardest source of distractions to control.  It is hard to shut yourself off from yourself. . The key culprit for us is multitasking.  Many studies have been done at this point, that show multitasking reduces productivity, instead of increasing it.  Our minds can only hold one thought at a time, and switching tasks causes us to lose focus and momentum, and forces our mind to play &#8220;catch-up&#8221; over and over again.  To become more productive, you must master the art of focusing on one thing at a time and give it your best effort and attention, until it is done.  If boredom sets in while you are working on your task, give yourself a SHORT break, and remind yourself of what the ultimate objective is for what you are working on and what the payoff is to you.  </p>
<p>You need to make sure the task you pick to concentrate on, is in fact your highest priority item.  Many of us fall into the trap of staying busy, vs. staying productive.  One task may clear mountains of paperwork off your desk ,or you might be better served by moving just one piece of high priority/high payback paper.  Use the 80/20 rule to help find the true &#8220;gems&#8221; in your inbox.  The 80/20 rule says that 80% of the gains you receive, come from 20% of your efforts.  Find out what that 20% of high payoff project are and make sure you concentrate on accomplishing them first.  </p>
<p>And of course don&#8217;t forget the basics of time management.  Say no to as many projects as you can to help streamline your workload.  Try to &#8220;cherry pick&#8221; projects you know in advance hold high payback potential and try to pass on lower priority projects.  Also delegate as much lower payback activity as possible.  Calculate the value of your time and try to delegate low value activities, even if you have to pay someone.  It is money well spent.  </p>
<p>Increased productivity is as close as your next thought.  Remember everything counts. Every action you take as well as those actions you don&#8217;t take can help you move towards your goal of increased productivity. Constantly remind yourself of your need to be more productive and discipline yourself to do the right thing.  Don&#8217;t beat yourself if you have a setback, but be certain to reward yourself in someway, for each action that moves<br />your productivity up a notch.</p>

They are capable of influencing every aspect of our daily lives, from our physical health to our social behaviors. I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve heard the adage, &#8220;As you think, so shall you be.&#8221;</p>
<p>If we want to improve our lives, we must first improve our thoughts. Harnessing the power of thought in a positive way has the ability to create great change in our lives, including our financial well-being and prosperity. But how? How do we take something as intangible as thoughts, and manifest them into a physical reality?</p>
<p>We must first understand that being prosperous is more than having a lot of money. Prosperity is a mindset, a way of interacting in our lives, and a way of thinking. Mastering this train of thought is not easy, but it is simple enough if we keep working on it consistently.</p>
<p>Following are some ideas to help you improve your thoughts, and ultimately attract more prosperity into your life:</p>
<p>Be grateful for the blessings in your life right now. Take a few minutes each day to express heartfelt gratitude for the good things in your life. Even more powerful, write a few of these blessings down each day. This helps to put your focus in the right direction &#8212; on abundance, not lack.</p>
<p>Use positive affirmations to begin training yourself to think positively. Use &#8220;I am&#8221; statements such as &#8220;I am worthy of all that is good.&#8221; Write the statements down and repeat them nightly before bed. Over time, this will implant these thoughts into your subconscious mind, and you will begin to naturally believe them.</p>
<p>Creative visualization can help you achieve prosperity by determining what it is you wish to achieve, and then thoroughly creating that image in your mind. This works in the same way affirmations do. Our subconscious will fill with images of prosperity, and eventually these subconscious &#8220;truths&#8221; will manifest in the physical. &#8220;See&#8221; yourself as being prosperous, and you will become so.</p>
<p>Encourage yourself with the belief that you can achieve great things. This could also be one of your affirmations, but expand on it. If you know you can earn a certain salary, tell yourself you can earn more. Allow yourself to believe all things are possible, and you will gain the confidence needed to reach higher than you ever imagined you could. If you believe you can do it, you are more likely to take the risks associated with people who are highly successful. Prosperity and success go hand in hand, so take risks and aim higher.</p>
<p>Start a savings account. As strange as it sounds, think about this: Like Attracts Like. Even if you can only afford to put a few dollars into your account every month, it will begin to build up and attract more money.</p>
<p>Finally, believe you are already wealthy. The creative ability of our thoughts is such that we lend more power and energy to whatever we consistently focus on. Focusing on lack will create more lack. Focusing on wealth and prosperity will create . . . guess what?</p>
<p>Remember that this is a process. You likely won&#8217;t change your circumstances in one day. But over time, with consistent focus, your thoughts will begin to attract what you want. Once you master this power of thought, there are truly no limits to what you can create!</p>
